Suzanna Janazyan

 
 

        Ms. Janazyan’s zeal for travel has shaped her perspective of the world and fostered a passion for global awareness which is evident in her classroom atmosphere and her teaching style. Her passion for travel and culture has taken her to over 17 countries and counting. Her most recent adventure took her on a 300 km hike across Northern Spain, on the Camino to Santiago De Compostela, one of the many ancient pilgrim routes that run through Europe. She strives to instill in her students her passion for travel and global awareness, inspiring them to explore and understand the many different cultures and people in the world around them. Ms. Janazyan is our first-grade teacher who has been in the field of education and working with young children for over 10 years. She received a B.A. in Child Development from the University of La Verne and a M.S. in Education from Pepperdine University. During her spare time, she enjoys salsa dancing, hiking, and of course traveling.
